Short and sweet today.

Using a comma in place of a colon (multiple times) borders on pretentious. Hell, maybe it crosses the line.

Pearl necklaces and filtered cigarettes be damned, it doesn’t get more laid back than this tone. Yes, it will polarize. But for the portion of the audience who enjoys that, it works, and only because the copy really commits.

Rose’s Dressing Gown (No. AAW10238). Yes, they knew how to have breakfast. Also, how to make a man stop reading the Times. The gown itself, soft silk charmeuse to the floor, fine laced edging at the bodice. The robe, pure froth. Lace netting slides to the floor and beyond, with a small train. Yellow-ribbon flowers frame the neckline, decorate the sleeves and hold the souffle together.
